The company i worked for went bankrupt. I lost my job and started painting for months intensively.
I gave away paintings to pay my bills. HEIN is an actionpainter. This means he starts creating a new piece without knowing what the destination will be. Once started he gets influenced by ideas, colours, music, surroundings etc. Jackson Pollock made worldwide furore with this working method. Pollock made generally abstract work. Hein does'nt do that. He makes his paintings like a cartoon. HEIN lives now in the Netherlands.
